Condition:

Very good considering the age of the work. The work on offer is darker in tonality to the image above, however, none of the aura is lost. This work has been custom framed.

Jawlensky is one of the great colourists whose work straddles the departure from the Classical into the Modern era. His body of work is proof of his endearing desire to use colour freely and to mold forms to suit his seemingly erratic subject matter.
