Condition:

This work was released from its aluminum frame and restored at the corners where there were perforations. There was also a small area of paint loss near the top right pink area. These areas have been mended and paint loss has been rectified using latex and acrylic. These restorations were made in 2015. The painting was then reframed.

There is a larger, more monumental work of the same name in the Inventory of The Modern Art Exchange, Oakland, California. This work was the study, or one of the studies for that painting. Tauss was one of the very few artists that practiced hard edge abstraction with such purity.
